Autor d'edicions d'alguns di\u00e0legs com el Fed\u00f3<\/em>, l'Eut\u00edfron<\/em>, l'Apologia de S\u00f2crates<\/em> o el Crit\u00f3<\/em>, Burnet ens ha deixat l'edici\u00f3 completa de les obres plat\u00f2nica que ha estat emprada al llarg del segle XX, l'anomenada Platonis Opera<\/em>. A Platonisme<\/em>, en diverses confer\u00e8ncies impartides a la Universitat de Calif\u00f2rnia el 1928, l'any de la seva mort, Burnet ens ofereix la seva visi\u00f3 de Plat\u00f3, de les seves relacions amb S\u00f2crates, Dionisi i Arist\u00f2til, de la teoria de les idees, de la matem\u00e0tica i teologia, de les Lleis<\/em> i del llegat plat\u00f2nic, que segons l'autor encara no ha estat aprofitat en la seva totalitat.<\/span><\/p>\n
